ChatMew works because people show up kind, curious and real. These rules keep it that way — in chats, rooms, games and profiles.
Not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, threats, or pushing someone after they've said no.
- Hate speech or attacks on anyone's religion, caste, region, language, gender, sexuality or disability.
- Nudity, sexual content, or sexual messages to anyone who hasn't clearly agreed — and never anything involving minors.
- Scams, spam, selling, or asking people for money, OTPs or personal details.
- Impersonating someone, or pretending to be ChatMew staff.
- Violence, self-harm promotion, illegal drugs or weapons.
- Sharing someone else's photos, number or private info without their permission.
18+ only
Everyone on ChatMew must be 18 or older. If you think someone is underage, report them.

Use the report button on any profile, message or room. Reports go to a real person on our safety team. You can also block anyone, any time — they won't be told.
What happens if rules are broken
Depending on how serious it is: a warning, content removal, feature limits, a temporary suspension, or a permanent ban. Serious harm may be reported to the authorities.
